(NYSE: GEV) designs, manufactures and services energy equipment that generates, transmits, orchestrates, converts and stores electricity to support the global energy transition; the company operates through Power, Wind and Electrification segments, offering gas turbines including heavy-duty HA-class models, nuclear technologies via GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy, hydro and steam power solutions; onshore and offshore wind turbines such as the Haliade-X platform and blades from LM Wind Power; grid solutions, power conversion, electrification software, solar inverters like FLEXINVERTER, energy storage systems and transformers through its Prolec GE joint venture. GE Vernova serves utilities, independent power producers, industrial customers and governments worldwide across more than 100 countries, with approximately 75,000 employees and manufacturing sites spanning the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America including key U.S. facilities in Greenville SC, Schenectady NY and Wilmington NC. Headquartered in Cambridge Massachusetts and spun off from General Electric in April 2024 following its incorporation in 2023, the company builds on over 130 years of heritage in energy technologies. Recent developments include a October 2025 agreement to acquire the remaining 50% stake in Prolec GE from Xignux for $5.275 billion to bolster its Electrification segment and North American grid capabilities, expected to close mid-2026; nearly $600 million in U.S. factory investments announced January 2025 to create 1,500 jobs focused on gas power, grid, nuclear and wind expansions as part of a $9 billion global capex and R&D plan through 2028; and a September 2025 divestiture of its Proficy manufacturing software business to TPG for $600 million.
