Business
Majestic Auto Limited is an Indian company primarily engaged in commercial real estate and facility management services, having transitioned from its historical auto components manufacturing business. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Greater Noida, India, the company initially produced products such as mopeds, automobile and electrical components, water pumps, seat recliners, mufflers, fine blanking components, and electric motors. However, since ceasing manufacturing operations in 2017 due to unviable business conditions, Majestic Auto has strategically shifted focus to leasing office and industrial space and providing comprehensive facility management services. These services encompass space and infrastructure planning, design, workplace construction and maintenance, leasing, as well as catering, cleaning, ICT, human resources, accounting, marketing, and hospitality support to clients. The company operates mainly in India, with its real estate and facility management activities concentrated in industrial areas of Greater Noida and surroundings. Majestic Auto also had a subsidiary, Emirates Technologies Private Limited (ETPL), in which it held an 80% stake; the company completed the sale of this subsidiary in 2025 for INR 196 crore, marking a major restructuring move. The sale closed by September 2025, signaling a strategic divestment from non-core assets. Majestic Auto maintains a strong promoter holding of 75%, with recent efforts emphasizing asset monetization through the sale of manufacturing land and focusing on rental-yielding commercial properties to generate stable cash flow and dividends. Financially, the company faces operational challenges due to revenue decline and underutilization of assets but sustains shareholder returns through dividends. Majestic Auto Limited offers a broad portfolio of products historically including mufflers branded under Hero MotoCorp, fine blanking components, and electric motors, reflecting its extensive expertise in auto component manufacturing prior to the strategic shift. Its current business segments revolve around commercial property leasing, facility management services, and industrial space operations, targeting corporate clients requiring managed office and industrial facilities. The company’s recent corporate actions highlight a pivot from manufacturing to a service-oriented real estate business, supporting long-term sustainable growth in the commercial infrastructure domain. This transition and restructuring define Majestic Auto Limited’s contemporary business profile, combining its legacy in auto components with a growing presence in commercial real estate and facility management services within India. The company continues to leverage its operational expertise and assets to improve financial performance and shareholder value amid changing industry dynamics.
