The company operates as an intermediary in the industrial supply chain, supplying metal commodities to clients across the construction, infrastructure, automotive, fabrication, and engineering sectors. Its core product portfolio comprises electric resistance welded (ERW) pipes and tubes; pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) color-coated coils and profile sheets; galvanized plain (GP) and galvanized corrugated (GC) sheets; hot rolled (HR) coils, plates, and sheets; cold rolled (CR) steel coils and sheets; chequered steel plates and coils; mild steel (MS) round bars, flat bars, and structural angles; hollow sections and boiler tubes; as well as select allied metal and agricultural commodities. The company manages domestic logistics and bulk deliveries through warehousing and supply networks across India. Originally incorporated in 1995 as Shree Surgovind Tradelink Limited, the company changed its name to RR Metalmakers India Limited in April 2019 to reflect its core focus on the steel and metal industry. In July 2026, the company entered into a major ownership and management transition following a definitive Share Purchase Agreement in which RB International Holdings Limited, along with individual investors Suyog Yogesh Desai and Nikita Suyog Desai, agreed to acquire a 70.66% controlling equity stake from the existing promoters, accompanied by a mandatory SEBI-regulated open offer to acquire up to an additional 26% of public equity shares. Prior to this change in control, the company initiated corporate consolidation procedures involving a proposed merger with promoter-affiliated RKB Global Limited and its subsidiaries, RKB Steel Private Limited and RR Life Care Private Limited, designed to achieve operational synergies and scale supply capabilities. RR Metalmakers India Limited is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and is publicly listed on the BSE.
