The company produces ordinary Portland cement in 53 grade and 43 grade, Portland Pozzolana cement, Portland slag cement, sulphate resistant Portland cement, and clinker, marketed under the Hathi and Sidhee brand names; it also offers paints through its Snowcem division, including exterior power paints such as UNIGLOSSS, PENTASIA, SNOWCRYL SANDTEX MATT, TRUMP, and SNOWCEM PLUS, interior emulsion paints like ZENITA, CELESTE, SENTINO, and SNOWPEARL, and waterproof cement paints. Products are distributed in bags, jumbo bags, and loose via road, rail, and sea to customers in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, the West Coast of India, and export markets in Africa, the Indian Ocean, and the Middle East. Saurashtra Cement Limited operates cement plants in Ranavav and Sidheegram, Gujarat, with a 25 MW captive power plant and 5.5 MW waste heat recovery system meeting 60-65% of power needs; it plans power purchase agreements with green energy providers and recently modernized its Sidheegram plant at a cost of Rs 80 crore. Founded in 1956 and headquartered at N. K. Mehta International House in Mumbai, the company, part of the Mehta Group, merged with Gujarat Sidhee Cement Limited effective March 30, 2023, and acquired the Snowcem Paints business on a slump sale basis in May 2021.
