Business

Incorporated in 1986 and headquartered in Mumbai, India, Seamec Limited serves domestic and overseas markets including the Middle East, South East Asia, West Africa and Gulf of Mexico, primarily targeting oil and gas operators, and functions as a subsidiary of HAL Offshore Limited with subsidiaries such as SEAMEC International FZE and Seamec UK Investments Limited. Recent developments include HAL Offshore increasing its promoter stake from 70.36% to 70.59% through open market acquisitions of over 58,000 shares in August 2025; formation of a 50:50 joint venture, SEARETE INDIA IFSC PRIVATE LIMITED, with Arete Shipping DMCC in GIFT City in April 2025 for ship owning and bareboat chartering; and ongoing charter contracts such as for SEAMEC PRINCESS with Synergy Subsea Engineering LLC in the Persian Gulf region.
