In addition to serving domestic industrial markets across India, the company maintains international export operations spanning over 45 countries worldwide across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. In recent major corporate developments, the company successfully completed its Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code following the approval of a resolution plan by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), resulting in its acquisition and recapitalization by Next Orbit Growth Fund III. Under this new ownership and management structure, Steelco Gujarat Limited reconstituted its board of directors, restructured its equity capital base, infused funds to settle creditor and operational obligations, successfully recommenced commercial manufacturing operations at its Palej plant, and launched a rights issue to finance long-term working capital requirements and accelerate operational ramp-up.
