Super Iron Foundry Ltd. is an India-based foundry and engineering enterprise engaged in the manufacturing, precision casting, and export of gray cast iron and ductile iron (spheroidal graphite iron) products. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, the company supplies engineered cast metal components for municipal infrastructure, civil construction, water management, transportation, and industrial engineering applications. The company's core product portfolio encompasses municipal and drainage castings, including heavy-duty and light-duty manhole covers and frames, storm drain gully gratings, catch basin frames and grates, trench grates, curb inlets, tree grates, and surface inspection boxes; waterworks and utility castings, comprising ductile iron pipe fittings, valve boxes, water meter boxes, fire hydrant bodies, and cleanout assemblies; industrial and engineering castings, including elevator and construction equipment counterweights, pump casings, valve bodies, machine tool castings, and agricultural machinery components; and railway castings, consisting of track components, base plates, and rolling stock castings; as well as custom-molded ductile and gray iron fabrications developed to client-specific metallurgical and dimensional requirements. Super Iron Foundry Ltd. maintains integrated manufacturing facilities equipped with cupola and electric induction furnaces, automated green sand and no-bake molding lines, core-making stations, shot blasting, precision machining centers, and in-house testing laboratories providing chemical, spectroscopic, mechanical, and hydrostatic quality validation. The company serves municipal corporations, civil engineering contractors, public utilities, railway authorities, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across domestic markets in India and international markets spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. In recent operational and corporate developments, Super Iron Foundry Ltd. has advanced its capacity expansion and facility modernization programs, integrating energy-efficient melting systems, automated molding technology, and enhanced sand reclamation infrastructure to reduce operational emissions and increase output efficiency. The company has also expanded its high-grade ductile iron product offerings to satisfy stringent international municipal and utility standards, while establishing new distribution alliances and direct-supply agreements with overseas civil infrastructure distributors across North America and Europe.
