Business
Trade-Wings Ltd. is an India-based integrated travel, cargo logistics, and hospitality services provider. Founded in 1949, the company is headquartered in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, with its registered corporate office situated in Panaji, Goa. Trade-Wings Ltd. operates across three core business divisions: Travel and Tourism, Logistics and Cargo Services, and Hospitality. The company serves individual retail clients, multinational corporations, government agencies, and international inbound tourists through a nationwide network of branches and customer service centers across India. The company provides a comprehensive portfolio of travel, transportation, lodging, and vocational educational services. Within its Travel and Tourism division, Trade-Wings Ltd. offers domestic and international scheduled airline ticketing; customized domestic and international leisure vacation packages; corporate travel management programs; meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) logistics; visa and passport facilitation; comprehensive travel insurance coverage; and Reserve Bank of India-authorized foreign currency exchange and remittance services. In its Logistics and Cargo Services division, the company delivers domestic and international air freight forwarding; ocean freight forwarding; express parcel and courier transportation; customs house brokerage and clearance; and specialized commercial and residential packing, moving, and warehousing solutions. In its Hospitality division, operated primarily through its subsidiary Trade Wings Hotels Limited, the company owns and manages the Bogmallo Beach Resort, an upscale beachfront property in South Goa offering 126 ocean-view rooms and chalets, dining facilities including the Nautilus Restaurant and Bar, outdoor banquet lawns, and meeting spaces, alongside urban event and conference venues such as Rampart Row in Mumbai. Additionally, through the Trade Wings Institute of Management (TIM), the group delivers vocational training programs, corporate workshops, and certification courses specializing in aviation, hospitality management, travel administration, and freight logistics. Recent corporate and operational developments at Trade-Wings Ltd. include the formal revocation of suspension and resumption of equity trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: 509953) following regulatory filings and compliance regularization. In response to post-pandemic recovery across the Indian tourism and aviation sectors, the company has undertaken digital transformation initiatives to modernize its ticketing and reservation management systems, streamlined corporate booking workflows, and introduced expanded MICE travel packages. In its hospitality operations, Trade-Wings Ltd. has implemented phased facility and service upgrades across the Bogmallo Beach Resort to capture growing demand for premium leisure tourism, business conferences, and destination events, while concurrently modernizing its vocational training curriculum at TIM to incorporate updated airline reservation systems and hospitality service standards.
