- Xpro India Limited is a prominent entity primarily engaged in the production and distribution of polymers within India and for export markets. The company manufactures biaxially oriented polypropylene films, which are utilized in packaging for a wide array of products such as adhesive tapes, bakery items, biscuits, cigarette overwraps, confectionery, metalizing, potato chips, print lamination, processed foods, salted snacks, and general supermarket goods. Its portfolio also encompasses specialty coextruded cast films, including stretch wrap films vital for pallet stretch wrapping and food bundle overwraps. Additionally, they produce soft blister films for medical disposable packaging, release films for rubber, tire and tread, and conveyor belting sectors, and cast polypropylene films used in packaging, lamination, and stationery. Hygiene films are another key offering, serving as diaper backing films, sanitary napkins, and surgical drapes. The company further provides mono-layer and coextruded plastic sheets, which find extensive application in refrigerator door and cabinet liners, luggage shells, automotive flooring, trims, and panels, and disposable cups. These sheets are also used for stationery containers like files and folders, and in various industrial thermoforming applications such as furniture, packaging, and bathroom cabinets. Xpro India holds a leadership position as a pioneering Indian manufacturer of premium dielectric films. These specialized polypropylene films are critical for capacitors in power transmission and distribution, motor run, power film/electronic, magnetic lighting ballast, microwave oven, low voltage industrial power factor correction, AC and pulse film, interference suppression, hybrid cars, and energy storage systems. The dielectric film segment operated near full capacity in fiscal year 2025, capturing over 30% of the domestic market share and seeing strong demand from capacitor and electric vehicle (EV) markets. The company is strategically expanding capacity, with new lines nearing production, including one at Barjora and progress on a UAE plant, with plans to potentially increase dielectric film production sixfold over the next 3-4 years. Moreover, the firm manufactures thermoformed liners specifically for refrigerator inner and door linings, alongside components for automotive interior and exterior trims, furniture, luggage shells, sanitary products, electrical/electronic housings, and industrial material handling trays. Xpro India Limited, formerly known as Biax Films Limited, adopted its current name in September 1998, having been incorporated in 1997. The company, headquartered in Faridabad, India, also engages in product exports and is an integral part of the Birla Group. In fiscal year 2025, the company reported a revenue of ₹535.3 crore, demonstrating a 15% year-on-year growth, with production volumes rising by 18.4% to 33,014 MT, underlining its operational resilience and strategic focus on high-growth industries like white goods and EVs.
