Business
NUAM S.A. is a Latin American financial market infrastructure holding company that operates integrated securities exchange, trading, clearing, settlement, and depository platforms across Chile, Colombia, and Peru. Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Santiago, Chile, the company provides multi-asset trading, post-trade, and information technology solutions to domestic and international institutional investors, retail market participants, broker-dealers, and corporate issuers. The company's core products and services include: multi-asset trading systems for cash equities, fixed income securities, foreign exchange instruments, commodity contracts, exchange-traded funds, and standardized financial derivatives; comprehensive post-trade clearing and settlement infrastructure executed through central counterparty clearinghouses; central securities depository solutions encompassing securities registration, custody, dividend administration, and asset servicing; capital raising and corporate issuer services comprising initial public offerings, equity listings, debt instrument registrations, and corporate governance compliance; real-time and historical market data solutions, including market feeds, order book depth, closing pricing services, indices calculation, valuation metrics, and analytics; and financial technology, colocation, connectivity, and electronic transaction platforms for brokerage firms and institutional market participants. NUAM S.A. operates primarily through its integrated exchange and market infrastructure subsidiaries, which include the Santiago Stock Exchange and Central Counterparty Clearing House in Chile, the Colombia Stock Exchange and Central Securities Depository in Colombia, and the Lima Stock Exchange and securities clearing and depository institution CAVALI in Peru. In recent major developments, the company finalized the cross-border corporate integration uniting the stock exchanges of Chile, Colombia, and Peru under a unified holding entity, transitioning from its initial corporate identity of Holding Bursátil Regional S.A. to nuam S.A. under the commercial brand nuam exchange. To construct its unified regional architecture, NUAM S.A. established a multi-year strategic technology partnership with Nasdaq to deploy an integrated, high-performance trading and market surveillance engine across all three jurisdictions, alongside a strategic alliance with Vermiculus Financial Technology to implement unified real-time clearing and risk management systems. The company has unified its equity listings under the single ticker symbol NUAM across the Santiago, Bogotá, and Lima exchanges and is executing the phased deployment of a single order book and standardized regional regulatory and settlement framework designed to consolidate market liquidity, eliminate friction, and enhance cross-border capital access.
