Business
Euro-Cycles SA is a Tunisia-based manufacturing company specializing in the design, assembly, and international export of bicycles, light electric mobility vehicles, and cycling components. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Kalaa Kebira, Sousse, Tunisia, the company operates primarily as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and original design manufacturer (ODM) for international sporting goods retailers, mass distributors, and cycling brands, while also delivering products under private and proprietary labels. Euro-Cycles structures its commercial and manufacturing activities across three core segments: Traditional Bicycles, Electric Mobility Solutions, and Bicycle Components and Accessories. Its Traditional Bicycles offering includes mountain bikes (MTB); road and racing bikes; hybrid, fitness, and trekking bikes; urban, city, and commuter bicycles; folding bikes; cruisers; and children and junior bicycles across diverse wheel dimensions. Its Electric Mobility Solutions division manufactures pedal-assisted electric bicycles (pedelecs/e-bikes); electric urban commuters; electric trekking bicycles; light electric cargo bikes; and electric scooters equipped with integrated lithium-ion battery configurations, mid-drive and hub motors, and digital control interfaces. Its Bicycle Components and Accessories unit manufactures and markets extruded aluminum and steel bicycle rims; complete assembled wheelsets; bicycle frames; forks; handlebars; stems; seat posts; saddles; pedals; transmission and brake cable assemblies; mudguards; luggage racks; and replacement hardware. Euro-Cycles operates vertically integrated production facilities in Tunisia featuring automated wheel-building machinery, electrostatic powder coating and painting lines, frame machining, and comprehensive quality and safety testing laboratories. Geographically, the company exports the majority of its output to international markets, primarily across the European Union and the United Kingdom, including France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and Spain, alongside distribution across North American and African regional markets. In recent operational and strategic developments, Euro-Cycles has accelerated the expansion of its electric mobility division by introducing new assembly lines for advanced e-bikes and cargo bicycles, supported by technical partnerships with European electronic drive train and battery suppliers. To enhance supply chain resilience and raise local value integration, the company has expanded in-house manufacturing capabilities for aluminum rims and structural parts, mitigating global component bottlenecks and reducing production lead times. Furthermore, Euro-Cycles has pursued active geographic diversification to expand its commercial footprint across continental Europe and emerging African markets, accompanied by capital investments in plant automation, digitized testing systems, and energy-efficient manufacturing infrastructure.
