In recent developments, PMT renewed its mortgage banking services agreement with PFSI effective July 1, 2025, under which PFSI initially acquires correspondent production volumes while PMT retains rights to purchase up to 100% of non-government loans; in the third quarter of 2025, this structure facilitated PMT's acquisition of $3.3 billion in unpaid principal balance of conventional conforming and jumbo loans from PFSI, up 8% from the prior quarter, alongside $1.3 billion from PFSI's production and the creation of $46 million in new mortgage servicing rights through closed securitizations totaling $1.5 billion.
