The enterprise operates through distinct segments: Uranium, Fuel Services, and its strategic holding in Westinghouse. The Uranium division is dedicated to exploring, mining, milling, and marketing uranium concentrate. Its Fuel Services segment encompasses the refining, conversion, and fabrication of uranium concentrate, alongside delivering related services and manufacturing fuel bundles for CANDU reactors. Through its substantial interest in Westinghouse Electric Company, Cameco also offers nuclear reactor technology and comprehensive products and services to commercial utilities and government agencies, covering outage support, engineering, and reactor component provision. The company distributes its nuclear fuel and services to utilities throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Cameco Corporation, founded in 1987, maintains its headquarters in Saskatoon, Canada.
