- Canuc Resources Corporation is a Toronto, Ontario-headquartered junior natural-resource company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of precious-metal, critical-mineral and oil-and-gas assets. Founded in 1954 as Canadian Nuclear–Canuc, the Company focuses on advancing gold, silver, copper and associated polymetallic mineral prospects, including prospective iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG)-style systems, while developing cash-flow-generating energy assets. Its principal mineral properties comprise the 100%-owned East Sudbury Project in Ontario, Canada, encompassing approximately 20,078 hectares near the Sudbury Mining District and including the historical Scadding Gold Mine and Scadding Gold Tailings Project; and the 100%-owned San Javier Silver-Gold Project in Sonora, Mexico, comprising 28 claims totaling approximately 1,052 hectares with silver, gold and copper mineralization. Canuc also holds working interests in natural-gas assets and producing gas wells in central-west Texas, United States, and pursues related oil-and-gas and industrial Internet-of-Things commercialization opportunities. The Company’s exploration activities target gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, cobalt and other associated critical minerals across Canada and Mexico, while its energy activities are directed toward producing natural gas and related infrastructure in the United States. In 2025, Canuc completed the acquisition of MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd., obtaining the East Sudbury Project through the transaction, and completed a CAD3.2 million private placement to fund the acquisition and mineral-asset development. During 2026, the Company expanded the East Sudbury land position through the acquisition of 13 additional mining claims covering 271 hectares, commenced an airborne gravity-gradiometer, magnetic and LiDAR survey conducted by Bell Geospace over the East Sudbury Project to identify deeper exploration targets, and reported a new near-surface gold-mineralized discovery, East-West Pit Area Zone 2, following drilling completed during July and August 2026.
