- Comet Lithium Corporation operates as a Canada-based critical-minerals exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of lithium-bearing and other prospective mineral properties in Québec, principally within the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region. The Company’s principal activities comprise geological mapping; prospecting; geophysical and remote-sensing surveys; rock, channel and till sampling; trenching; mineralogical and geochemical analysis; and drill-target generation for lithium, caesium, tantalum, copper, nickel and gold mineralization. Its portfolio includes the 100%-owned Pollux Project, formerly known as Elmer East, consisting of 37 claims covering approximately 1,942 hectares in the Eastmain Greenstone Belt; the Liberty lithium property, located near the Adina lithium project; and the Troilus East property, adjacent to Troilus Gold Corp.’s gold-copper project. Pollux is the Company’s priority asset and hosts an evolving lithium-caesium-tantalum, or LCT, pegmatite system, including spodumene-bearing and caesium-bearing pegmatite dykes. Recent surface exploration at Pollux has identified a mineralized pegmatite corridor exceeding 200 metres in strike length, with multiple mapped dykes and reported lithium, caesium and tantalum geochemical results; Comet is advancing the project toward drill testing and further delineation of lithium-caesium mineralization. The Company also retains royalty exposure to certain non-core mineral properties. Comet Lithium was incorporated in 2013, was formerly known as X-Terra Resources Inc., and adopted its current name in June 2023. It is headquartered in Rouyn-Noranda, Québec, Canada, and its common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol CLIC. In February 2026, the Company sold its 100% interest in the non-core Ducran polymetallic property to IAMGOLD Corporation for C$1.25 million in cash, redeploying the non-dilutive proceeds toward the advancement of Pollux and formally renaming the former Elmer East project to Pollux to reflect the identified pollucite-associated caesium potential. In April 2026, Comet completed the sale of its minority interest in the Véronneau property to Cunico Metals Inc. in exchange for 1.0 million Cunico common shares and a 0.5% net-smelter-return royalty applicable to production from the retained royalty area. In May 2026, the Company elected to adopt semi-annual reporting under the applicable Canadian venture-issuer reporting exemption.
