Commander Resources Ltd. (TSXV:CMD, OTC:CMDRF) is a Canadian-focused mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of resource properties primarily in Canada and Mexico; it targets gold, copper, nickel, zinc, molybdenum, and other base and precious metal deposits across a diversified portfolio of projects including 100%-owned assets such as the Flume property in Yukon, October Dome, Mount Polley, Henry Lee, and Burn porphyry copper-gold properties in British Columbia, Sabin volcanogenic massive sulfide and First Loon gold properties in Ontario, Nepisiguit in New Brunswick, and Pedro in Mexico, as well as a 25% interest in the South Voisey’s Bay nickel-copper project in Labrador. Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, the company operates within the metals and mining sector, serving investors and partners through joint ventures and sole-funded programs with targets in porphyry, volcanogenic massive sulfide, and gold belt environments. In May 2025, Commander Resources was acquired by Enduro Metals Corporation (TSXV:ENDR) pursuant to a court-approved plan of arrangement originally announced in December 2024, under which all issued and outstanding Commander shares were exchanged for 0.535 Enduro shares per Commander share, resulting in former Commander shareholders owning approximately 45.65% of the combined entity; Commander has commenced proceedings to cease being a reporting issuer following the transaction.
