Business
Citizens National Bancshares of Bossier, Inc. (CZNB) operates as the bank holding company for Bonvenu Bank, National Association, a full-service community bank providing personal and business banking products and services throughout Louisiana; core offerings include checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit, individual retirement accounts, commercial and personal loans, mortgages, online and mobile banking platforms, business cash management services such as ACH origination, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, positive pay, bill pay, and merchant processing solutions; the bank targets individual consumers, small businesses, and commercial clients with customized financial guidance emphasizing personalized relationships. Bonvenu Bank maintains branches in Bossier City, Shreveport, Mansfield, Baton Rouge, Metairie, and other locations across north and south Louisiana, operating from its headquarters in Bossier City where the institution traces its origins to 1985. In April 2024, the holding company and its bank subsidiary rebranded from Citizens National Bancshares of Bossier, Inc. and Citizens National Bank to Bonvenu Bancorp, Inc. and Bonvenu Bank, respectively, adopting a French-inspired name derived from "bienvenue" meaning "welcome" to underscore Louisiana cultural ties, enhance brand distinction amid similar-named institutions, and signal a commitment to more direct, vision-oriented customer partnerships without altering core operations, checks, deposits, or debit card functionality during the transition; the bank continues expansion efforts following its 2021 entry into south Louisiana markets including Gretna, Mandeville, and Baton Rouge.
