Business
Corcept Therapeutics Incorporated (Nasdaq: CORT) is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops and commercializes drugs modulating cortisol activity at the glucocorticoid receptor to treat severe metabolic, oncologic, psychiatric and endocrine disorders. The company markets Korlym (mifepristone), the first FDA-approved treatment for hyperglycemia secondary to hypercortisolism in adults with endogenous Cushing's syndrome who have type 2 diabetes or glucose intolerance and have failed surgery or are not candidates for surgery; Korlym is available through a limited network of specialty pharmacies with patient support programs including financial assistance. Corcept advances a pipeline of proprietary selective cortisol modulators, including relacorilant in Phase 3 for Cushing's syndrome (PDUFA target date December 30, 2025) and in Phase 3 ROSELLA trial combined with nab-paclitaxel for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PDUFA target date July 11, 2026), where it demonstrated improved progression-free and overall survival in October 2025 ASCO late-breaker data; nenocorilant in Phase 1b with nivolumab for solid tumors; and other candidates targeting antipsychotic-induced weight gain, NASH, triple-negative breast cancer, castration-resistant prostate cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer and platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer post-PARP inhibitor progression. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Redwood City, California, the company conducts operations primarily in the United States and pursues global regulatory submissions including in Europe. Recent developments include Q3 2025 revenue of $207.6 million versus $182.5 million in Q3 2024, lifted full-year 2025 revenue guidance, initiation of new BELLA trial arms for relacorilant plus nab-paclitaxel with bevacizumab in platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer and in endometrial cancer, a Phase 2 collaboration with Arcagy Research for relacorilant plus nab-paclitaxel in cervical cancer, an ongoing transition to a new specialty pharmacy for Korlym fulfillment, and expansion of over 30 studies across endocrinology, oncology, metabolism and neurology.
