Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CPS) manufactures and sells sealing, fuel and brake delivery, and fluid transfer systems for the global automotive and industrial markets. The company offers a broad portfolio of products, including static seals, glass runs, outer belts, inner belts, below belt channels, appliques, roof ditch moldings, encapsulated glass, SafeSeal systems with integrated sensing, stainless steel trim, and decorative foils for sealing systems; fuel and vapor lines, metallic brake lines and bundles, combined fuel and brake line bundles, tank lines, fuel rails, direct injection and port fuel rails, Quick Connect fuel system connectors with sensors, and ArmorTube brake tube coatings for fuel and brake delivery; as well as heater and coolant hoses, ArmorHose abrasive resistant materials, diesel particulate filter lines, selective catalytic reduction lines, transmission oil cooling hoses, degas tanks, and deaerators for fluid transfer systems. It operates manufacturing facilities in 20 countries across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and South America, serving primarily passenger vehicles and light trucks, which account for approximately 95% of sales. Founded in 2004 through the acquisition of the automotive segment of Cooper Tire & Rubber Company—with roots tracing to 1917—and headquartered in Northville, Michigan, the company employs around 23,000 people worldwide. In January 2024, Cooper-Standard expanded its technology licensing agreement with NIKE, Inc., granting limited exclusivity for the Fortrex material platform in footwear and additional product lines, building on the initial 2021 pact to leverage sustainable material innovations. The company reported strong financial performance in 2025, including Q3 sales of $695.5 million (up 1.5% year-over-year), continued margin expansion, and $181.4 million in net new business awards in 2024 with $105.8 million for electric vehicle platforms; it reaffirmed strategies for double-digit adjusted EBITDA margins, hybrid vehicle growth opportunities, and net leverage reduction below 2x by 2027 amid ongoing operational restructuring and cost efficiencies.
