Business
Cosigo Resources Ltd. is a junior gold exploration company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties, with a primary focus on advancing the Taraira Gold Belt in the Vaupés region of southern Colombia and related mineral interests in Colombia and Brazil. Incorporated on December 21, 1987, and continued in British Columbia in July 2007, the company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol CSG and on the OTCQB as COSRF. Its core activities center on district-scale gold exploration and project development, including geological mapping; drilling; sampling; assay analysis; gravity concentration testing; evaluation of conglomerate and hard-rock gold targets; and the use of geophysical and airborne survey data to prioritize exploration targets. The company’s principal project includes the Taraira property, where it is testing multiple targets across the broader Taraira Gold Belt and reporting drill and bulk-sample results to evaluate gold potential. In 2026, Cosigo expanded its exploration and corporate activities through multiple updates, including the completion of drill holes 26 to 28 at Taraira, submission of a request to obtain Colombian Geological Survey airborne magnetometry and gamma-ray data covering Block 9, appointment of Stephen Pearce as chief financial officer effective April 28, 2026, and a non-brokered private placement that raised gross proceeds of $700,000 through the issuance of 8,750,000 units at $0.08 per unit to support the 2026 exploration program.
