Its Health Care Benefits segment, principally conducted under the Aetna brand, offers medical, pharmacy, dental and behavioral-health plans; Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement products; standalone Medicare Part D prescription-drug plans; Medicaid health-care management services; voluntary and consumer-directed health plans; medical-management and care-management capabilities. Its Health Services segment, principally operating through CVS Caremark, provides pharmacy benefit management solutions, including plan design and administration; formulary management; retail pharmacy network management; specialty and mail-order pharmacy services; prescription fulfillment; clinical and disease-management programs; medical-spend management; provider enablement; administrative services; services for federal 340B Drug Pricing Program covered entities; care delivered through clinics, virtual channels and patients’ homes; and value-based primary-care and in-home health services. Its Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness segment dispenses prescriptions through approximately 9,000 retail pharmacy locations and infusion operations; provides pharmacy patient-care programs, diagnostic testing and vaccinations; supports specialty and mail-order pharmacy fulfillment; and sells over-the-counter medicines, health and wellness products, beauty and personal-care products, convenience merchandise and other general merchandise. The Company also operates more than 1,000 walk-in and primary-care medical clinics and serves senior patients through a dedicated pharmacy-care business. As of December 31, 2025, CVS Health’s pharmacy benefit manager served approximately 87 million plan members and its insurance businesses served more than 37 million people, including through Medicare Advantage and other government-sponsored and commercial plans. CVS Health is incorporated in Delaware, traces its operating heritage to 1963, and is headquartered in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. In 2025, the Company completed the conversion of 63 former Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs stores in the Pacific Northwest and acquired hundreds of prescription files across 15 states, expanding its retail pharmacy footprint and prescription-file business. The Company also introduced a technology products and services offering centered on Engagement as a Service to develop an open consumer-engagement platform. In 2026, CVS Health formed Health100, a health technology services subsidiary, and announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to develop an AI-native consumer engagement platform intended to integrate pharmacy, provider, insurance, pharmacy benefit management and digital-health experiences, with an initial launch planned during 2026.
