- Domestic Metals Corp. is a Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of copper, gold and associated precious- and base-metal mineral properties in the Americas, with primary operations focused on the Smart Creek copper-gold-silver project in Montana, United States. The Company’s principal activities comprise geological and structural mapping; surface rock, soil and outcrop sampling; induced-polarization geophysical surveying; compilation and digitization of historical drill and assay data; three-dimensional geological modeling; target generation; and diamond drilling aimed at defining large-scale porphyry copper, copper-gold-silver carbonate-replacement, epithermal gold, skarn and exotic copper mineralization. Its Smart Creek Project, acquired in August 2024, covers approximately 8,000 hectares approximately 50 kilometers northwest of the Butte Mine Complex and is operated as a joint venture in which Rio Tinto holds a 40% interest and Domestic Metals holds, or has the right to acquire, up to a 60% interest. The Company targets historical mining districts in favorable North American jurisdictions where prior drilling, surface mineralization and geological characteristics indicate potential for economically viable mineral deposits. Domestic Metals was incorporated in 2013 and is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The Company was formerly known as Norden Crown Metals Corporation and changed its name to Domestic Metals Corp. in April 2025, adopting the TSX Venture Exchange trading symbol DMCU as part of a strategic shift toward U.S.-based copper and gold exploration. In 2026, Domestic Metals completed a 26-line-kilometer induced-polarization survey at Smart Creek to refine drill targets, closed a non-brokered private placement of 10,973,700 units at C$0.28 per unit for gross proceeds of approximately C$3.07 million to support working capital and exploration activities, and commenced a fully funded diamond-drilling campaign of up to 9,000 meters across an estimated six to eight holes at the Smart Creek and Sunrise Mine targets.
