- DAVIDsTEA Inc. operates as a specialty tea retailer and consumer products company, offering a branded portfolio of proprietary loose-leaf teas, pre-packaged teas, biodegradable tea sachets, matcha, herbal and fruit infusions, traditional teas, seasonal blends, tea gift sets and tea-related food and beverage products. The Company also markets teaware and accessories, including teapots, mugs, tumblers, tea cups, steepers, infusers, cold-brew bottles, matcha makers, matcha spoons and iced-tea accessories. Its product range comprises more than 100 tea blends and includes premium ceremonial-grade matcha sourced from partners in Kyushu and Nishio, Japan. DAVIDsTEA distributes products through its direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform, Amazon Marketplace, company-owned retail stores and wholesale customers, including grocery stores, pharmacies and convenience stores in Canada and grocery customers in the United States.
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Town of Mount Royal, Montréal, Québec, Canada, DAVIDsTEA serves tea consumers across Canada and the United States. As of January 31, 2026, the Company operated 21 company-owned Canadian storefronts and maintained administrative, warehousing, production and assembly operations in Mont-Royal.
DAVIDsTEA is pursuing a store-led omnichannel growth strategy. In November 2025, it completed a private placement raising gross proceeds of C$3.0 million to support retail expansion, and opened a store at Laurier in Québec City in December 2025. During fiscal 2026, the Company launched new locations at Oshawa Centre in Oshawa, Ontario, and Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, with further planned openings at Southgate Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, and Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby, British Columbia; the Square One location serves as a flagship concept featuring an accessible tea bar and seasonally curated signature drinks.
The Company has also expanded its U.S. logistics capabilities by establishing a Chicago fulfillment platform and engaging a third-party logistics partner to support U.S. customer fulfillment and mitigate the impact of changes to the U.S. de minimis trade exemption. In parallel, DAVIDsTEA has entered into a lease agreement to consolidate its Montréal operating footprint from two facilities into a single approximately 160,000-square-foot facility.
