Business
Deutsche Telekom AG, operating with its various subsidiaries, delivers a comprehensive array of telecommunication and information technology services. The company structures its operations across several key segments: Germany, the United States, Europe, Systems Solutions, and Group Development. It offers robust fixed-network services, encompassing voice and high-speed data communications leveraging both traditional and broadband infrastructure, alongside the distribution of terminal equipment and related hardware, as well as providing wholesale services to other providers. The enterprise further specializes in mobile voice and data services for individual consumers and business clients, retailing mobile devices and ancillary hardware. It extends its mobile service offerings to resellers and to entities that acquire and market network services to third-party operators. Additionally, Deutsche Telekom delivers internet access and internet-based television products and services. Through its T-Systems brand, it provides advanced information and communication technology (ICT) systems, cloud solutions, and advisory services to multinational corporations and public sector institutions, underpinned by a global network of data centers. As of late 2024, the company served over 261 million mobile customers, more than 25 million fixed-network lines, and in excess of 22 million broadband customers globally. Deutsche Telekom is actively pursuing a strategy to become a "Leading Digital Telco," emphasizing digitalization, artificial intelligence, and network superiority through significant investments in 5G and fiber-optic infrastructure. Recent collaborations include a partnership with UEFA EURO 2024 for connectivity and media rights, joining the Global Telco AI Alliance to advance AI applications, and its T-Systems division working with Google Cloud and Intel on SAP S/4HHANA cloud migrations and with NVIDIA on an AI cloud for industrial use. The company, established in 1995, maintains its headquarters in Bonn, Germany.
