RB Global, Inc. operates an omnichannel marketplace that provides value-added insights, services and transaction solutions for buyers and sellers of commercial assets and vehicles worldwide; its core offerings include live auctions, online bidding platforms and digital marketplaces across asset classes such as automotive, commercial transportation, construction, government surplus, lifting and material handling, energy, mining and agriculture. Marketplace brands comprise Ritchie Bros., the world's largest auctioneer of heavy equipment, trucks and commercial assets; IAA, a leading digital platform for total loss, damaged and low-value vehicles; Rouse Services, delivering end-to-end asset management, data-driven intelligence and performance benchmarking; SmartEquip, a technology platform for equipment lifecycle management and parts procurement from OEMs and dealers; Xcira, providing live simulcast auction technologies; and Veritread, an online marketplace for heavy haul transport solutions. Ancillary services encompass real-time valuation insights, financial and appraisal solutions, inspections, refurbishing, logistics, transportation, data analytics, parts sourcing and catastrophe response, supported by auction sites in 13 countries serving customers in over 170 countries. Founded in 1958 and headquartered in Westchester, Illinois, the company targets commercial, industrial and government sectors with a focus on North America and global expansion. Recent developments include the completion of the J.M. Wood Auction Co. acquisition in 2025 for approximately $235 million, enhancing its Southeast U.S. presence in commercial construction and transportation auctions following HSR clearance; this tuck-in deal builds on the 2023 IAA integration and supports ongoing margin expansion through synergies and cross-selling.
