Business
SAF-Holland SE manufactures chassis-related assemblies and components primarily for trailers, semi-trailers, trucks, and buses; its core products include axle and suspension systems, fifth wheels, coupling systems, kingpins, landing gear, brake systems, and electronic braking systems (EBS), marketed under brands such as SAF, Holland, Haldex, Assali Stefen, Neway, Tecma, KLL, V.Orlandi, and York. The company supplies original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across six continents and serves the aftermarket through spare parts distribution to service networks, wholesalers, end customers, and service centers via a global network. Founded in 1881 and headquartered in Bessenbach, Germany, SAF-Holland operates in key regions including EMEA, Americas, and APAC, holding top-three market positions worldwide in its product categories; it employs around 5,700 people and reported sales of EUR 1,877 million in 2024. In April 2025, SAF-Holland acquired the remaining 40% stake in its Indian joint venture Haldex ANAND India Private Limited from the ANAND Group for a low double-digit million-euro price, achieving full ownership of this brake systems manufacturer to strengthen its drive2030 growth strategy, enhance localization of the Haldex portfolio, and intensify collaboration with subsidiary York in sales, distribution, and the Indian commercial vehicle market. In November 2025, the company approved a share buyback program of up to 2.27 million treasury shares, equivalent to 5% of its share capital, for a maximum of EUR 40 million through December 2026.
