- DOF Group ASA owns and operates a fleet of modern offshore and subsea vessels and provides integrated engineering, project management, and marine services primarily to the global offshore energy industry, including oil and gas as well as renewables; core offerings encompass platform supply vessels (PSVs), anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels, construction support vessels (CSVs), subsea construction and installation, inspection maintenance and repair (IMR), light construction, decommissioning, survey and positioning, remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operations, saturation and air diving, remote intervention, floating wind services, and marine vessel management. Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Storebø, Norway, the company maintains main operation centers and business units in Norway, the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore, Brazil (excluding certain Maersk Supply Service operations), Argentina, Canada, Angola, and Australia, employing approximately 4,000 personnel to serve customers across the offshore energy life-cycle from exploration and development to production support and decommissioning. In late 2024, DOF Group ASA completed the acquisition of Maersk Supply Service A/S (excluding its Brazil operations and Maersk Offshore Wind), adding 22 high-specification vessels comprising eight CSVs, 13 AHTS vessels, and one cable layer to its fleet, expanding total owned vessels to 65, reducing average fleet age to 10.7 years, enhancing geographic presence and scale in oil and gas alongside offshore wind, and strengthening its position as one of the largest listed oil services companies on the Oslo Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of approximately USD 2.3 billion as of the transaction announcement; the deal included a USD 500 million debt facility and a USD 125 million equity raise, with A.P. Moller Holding as a key shareholder, following the company's relisting as DOF Group ASA on Oslo Børs in June 2023 after the prior DOF ASA bankruptcy process.
