Airbus achieved first delivery of the A321XLR long-range aircraft in 2024, secured major defence orders such as Spain's 25 additional Eurofighter jets and Germany's SATCOMBw 3 satellite contract, and advanced plans to acquire select Spirit AeroSystems assets for A320 and A350 programmes in 2025 to enhance supply chain resilience.
