- Arabian Food Industries Company Domty S.A.E. is an Egypt-based food and beverage company specializing in the manufacturing, packaging, and distribution of dairy products, fruit juices, and packaged bakery goods. Founded in 1990 and headquartered in 6th of October City, Giza Governorate, Egypt, the company operates primarily across three core business segments: Dairy and Cheese, Juices and Beverages, and Bakery Products. Domty produces and markets an extensive portfolio of consumer packaged foods under its flagship Domty brand as well as sub-brands including Domty Plus, Damo, Bravo, and Domty Sandwich. Its dairy portfolio encompasses a wide variety of white cheeses packaged in aseptic Tetra Pak cartons and plastic tubs, including Feta, Istanbuly, Barameely, low-salt, and creamy cheese formulations; processed cheese jars, blocks, and triangles; yellow and hard cheeses, including Gouda, Edam, and Cheddar; shredded and block Mozzarella; and ultra-high-temperature (UHT) treated liquid milk and flavored milk products. The beverage segment produces a comprehensive line of single-strength fruit juices, nectars, and fruit drinks in flavors such as mango, guava, orange, apple, and tropical cocktails in various carton sizes. The bakery segment manufactures pre-packaged, ready-to-eat bakery snacks, including savory and sweet filled croissants, plain and seeded burger buns, toast bread, and savory stuffed sandwiches. The company distributes its products domestically across Egypt through an integrated direct-store-delivery logistics network serving traditional retail grocers, modern supermarkets, hypermarkets, and institutional foodservice channels, while exporting to more than 35 countries across the Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, and North America. In recent developments, Domty has been the subject of significant strategic consolidation interest, highlighted by Danish multinational dairy cooperative Arla Foods submitting a non-binding offer to acquire a majority stake of up to 100% in the company to expand its production and commercial footprint across the Middle East and Africa. Concurrently, Domty has expanded its industrial bakery operations by commissioning high-capacity automated production lines at its 6th of October manufacturing complex, diversified its product range with cost-efficient packaging formats and value-tier cheese variants to navigate local currency adjustments and raw material inflation, and deepened its export orientation to generate hard currency revenues through strategic regional trade partnerships.
