Business
Misr Beni Suef Cement Co. SAE is an Egypt-based joint-stock company engaged in the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of cement, clinker, and related construction materials. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, the company operates integrated cement manufacturing facilities situated in the Beni Suef Governorate, serving domestic and regional infrastructure, commercial, and residential building sectors. Misr Beni Suef Cement Co. SAE organizes its core operations into the production and commercialization of a comprehensive portfolio of heavy building materials; its primary product offerings include Ordinary Portland Cement (CEM I 42.5N and CEM I 52.5N) for high-strength structural engineering and reinforced concrete applications; Sulphate Resistant Cement (SRC) engineered for marine structures, foundations, and subterranean environments exposed to aggressive chemical soils; Portland Pozzolana and blended cements (CEM II) formulated for general construction, plastering, and masonry work; semi-finished grey Portland clinker for domestic grinding units and export trading; as well as customized cementitious mixes and bagged and bulk cement tailored to large-scale infrastructure developers, ready-mix concrete manufacturers, and wholesale building material distributors across Greater Cairo, Upper Egypt, and export destinations in Africa and the Middle East. In recent operational and strategic developments, Misr Beni Suef Cement Co. SAE has undertaken significant production line modernizations and cost-optimization programs to address fluctuating energy costs and domestic currency realignments, substantially expanding its alternative fuel thermal substitution capabilities through the utilization of refuse-derived fuels, petcoke, and agricultural biomass; investing in emissions-reduction and kiln-efficiency upgrades to comply with stringent environmental standards; and rebalancing its commercial portfolio toward eco-efficient, low-clinker blended cement products while strategically scaling export operations and optimizing capacity utilization under regulated national production quotas.
