MM Group for Industry & International Trade S.A.E. (MTI) is an Egypt-based distribution, retail, and commercial trading company specializing in consumer electronics, telecommunications, luxury automobiles, agricultural equipment, and non-banking financial services. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, the company operates an extensive nationwide distribution network connecting international manufacturers to commercial clients and end consumers through more than 40,000 points of sale, company-operated retail branches, and authorized service centers across Egypt, alongside regional commercial subsidiaries in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The company organizes its principal operations across five core business segments: Consumer Electronics, Telecommunications, Automotive, Tractors and Agricultural Equipment, and Non-Banking Financial Services. Its Consumer Electronics segment engages in the wholesale distribution and retail sale of smartphones, tablets, smart televisions, air conditioning units, and home appliances, serving as an authorized distributor for brands including Samsung, Huawei, Bosch, and Carrier; the Telecommunications segment provides distribution and retail solutions as a primary commercial partner for Vodafone Egypt, distributing mobile SIM cards, recharge cards, data subscriptions, and handsets, as well as managing branded retail stores; the Automotive segment imports, distributes, retails, and services luxury and high-performance passenger vehicles and sport utility vehicles, representing brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover, Range Rover, Maserati, Bentley, Ferrari, and Lamborghini, supported by dedicated service centers and spare parts distribution; the Tractors and Agricultural Equipment segment supplies agricultural machinery, tractors, and related implements, primarily under the New Holland brand, catering to commercial farming and agribusiness sectors; and the Financial Services segment provides digital payments processing, bill payment aggregation, point-of-sale merchant acquiring, and financial technology solutions through its investment in Basata Financial Holding. In recent strategic developments, MM Group has diversified its business portfolio and deepened its market presence across high-growth sectors. The company expanded into healthcare logistics and distribution by acquiring a 40% equity stake in B Pharma Holding, establishing a new operating platform focused on pharmaceutical distribution and supply chain services in Egypt. Within its automotive operations, the group expanded its ultra-luxury vehicle lineup by securing the official dealership and distribution rights for Automobili Lamborghini. In the financial technology sector, the group has continued to consolidate and expand the operations of Basata Financial Holding to enhance digital transaction volumes, merchant network reach, and microfinance services. In addition, MM Group has reinforced its regional footprint by expanding distribution channels across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) through its subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates while modernizing its domestic supply chain and consumer electronic retail infrastructure.
