- Enseco Energy Services Corp., a former provider of specialized services to the upstream oil and gas sector, operated across Canadian and United States markets. Established in 2006, the company was known for offering an array of energy-related solutions and rental equipment. Its core offerings encompassed advanced directional and horizontal drilling services, alongside critical production testing and frac flowback operations. The company’s drilling portfolio featured robust tools and support, including high-performance drilling motors, electromagnetic and positive pulse measurement-while-drilling (MWD) tools, Gamma-Ray LWD, and resistivity measurement technologies. Enseco also delivered expert well planning and directional modeling, torque and drag analysis, bottom hole assembly (BHA) design, anti-collision studies, as well as equipment repair and manufacturing capabilities. For production services, their product line supplied p-tanks, comprehensive frac flowback systems, in-line testing, bleed-offs, and stimulation recovery equipment, all available in portable and skid-mounted configurations with options for sour service and zero ground disturbance flare stacks. Enseco Energy Services Corp. historically focused on the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and select U.S. markets, strategically expanding its directional drilling division through acquisitions in its operational years. However, the company encountered significant financial challenges, leading to HSBC Bank Canada demanding loan repayment in October 2015, followed by the appointment of a receiver. Ultimately, Enseco's securities were delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange by August 2016, and the company is now considered out of business.
