In recent developments, the company completed its 2023 merger with OneWeb to form the world's first fully integrated GEO-LEO operator, launched Eutelsat 36D in March 2024 to replace capacity at 36° East, entered exclusive negotiations in August 2024 with EQT Infrastructure for the sale of a majority stake in its ground station infrastructure expected to close in Q1 2026, announced a circa €670 million rights issue in November 2025 following an €828 million reserved capital increase, and saw the French state increase its stake to become the largest shareholder by year-end 2025 as part of strategic equity raising.
