Business
Boostheat S.A. designs, develops, produces, and markets advanced heating solutions primarily based on its patented thermal compressor technology, which integrates a heat pump effect to reduce energy consumption by 25 to 60% compared to conventional systems. Its core products include energy-efficient boilers that combine heat pump and condensing boiler technologies, targeted at residential and commercial heating markets. Additionally, Boostheat offers software solutions and services, such as BOOSTHEAT software for manufacturers, component suppliers, integrators, and maintenance firms, along with Caliper, an edge IoT software solution aimed at optimizing industrial product performance and maintenance operations. The company operates mainly in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Israel, Canada, the United States, and Australia. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Venissieux, France, Boostheat also runs a Bitcoin Treasury subsidiary called Bitcoin Hold France as part of its strategy to create shareholder value. The company recently completed successful testing phases of its hybrid compressor technology capable of operating as a Stirling heat pump, micro-cogeneration unit, and hybrid heat pump with applications extending into biogas and methanisation sectors. In 2024, Boostheat underwent strategic restructuring to significantly reduce cash burn, secure new financing lines of €5 million over 36 months to enhance its hybrid compressor technology, and leverage its expertise in high-power compressors, data center cooling, and renewable energy applications. These developments position Boostheat as a key innovator in sustainable heating solutions contributing to the energy transition.
