Business
Herige SA (ALHRG.PA) manufactures and distributes industrial joinery and precast concrete products for the construction sector in France. The company operates through two primary divisions: Industrial Joinery, which produces multi-material windows, aluminum shutters, wooden gates, and closures under brands including ATLANTEM and Vendôme Fermetures; and Concrete Industry, encompassing EDYCEM's ready-mixed concrete, industrial precast concrete elements, insulated concrete forms, and low-carbon Vitaliss concrete solutions. Herige provides these products and related services to building professionals and DIY consumers, with a network of industrial sites emphasizing innovation, regulatory compliance, sustainability, R&D, and regional proximity, particularly in western France while maintaining national presence. Founded in 1907 and headquartered in Montaigu-Vendée, France, the family-owned group rebranded from VM Matériaux in May 2015. In April 2024, Herige completed the sale of its Building Materials Trading, Public Works, and Natural Stone businesses (VM Matériaux, LNTP, and Cominex) to SAMSE Group, enabling intensified focus on industrial joinery and concrete operations, debt reduction, and investments in efficiency, decarbonization, and circular economy initiatives.
