Business
New Sources Energy N.V. (NSE.AS) is a Netherlands-based investment holding company that focuses on acquiring, developing, and growing renewable energy production and technology companies to accelerate the global energy transition toward net-zero emissions. Founded in 1978 and headquartered at Apollolaan 151 in Amsterdam, the company invests in assets and technologies producing green electrons from wind, solar photovoltaic, and hydropower sources; green molecules such as hydrogen and synthetic fuels for heavy industry, shipping, and aviation; and energy efficiency solutions, with operations centered in Europe and expansion targets in the Gulf region, Africa, South America, Asia, and the Caribbean. It maintains a group structure including wholly owned subsidiaries New Green Investments B.V. and Energy Synergie B.V., providing active support in operations, financial management, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, technology partnerships, and international scaling for portfolio companies. In November 2025, New Sources Energy signed a memorandum of understanding with Conduit Ventures Ltd. to form an exclusive strategic collaboration, combining public and private equity to jointly finance and develop renewable energy and efficiency projects via a dedicated fund, subject to regulatory approvals and shareholder vote; earlier in 2025, it adopted its 2024 annual accounts, published first-half interim results reflecting organizational restructuring, appointed KPMG as external auditor, amended its articles of association, and achieved removal from Euronext Amsterdam's penalty bench in June.
