Fortress Biotech maintains partnerships with leading institutions and companies including AstraZeneca, City of Hope, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbia University, Dana-Farber Cancer Center, and Sentynl Therapeutics to advance its portfolio. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida, the company—formerly Coronado Biosciences, Inc., renamed in April 2015—recently completed the acquisition of subsidiary Checkpoint Therapeutics by Sun Pharma for approximately $28 million upfront plus potential contingent value right payments and royalties on UNLOXCYT sales; announced subsidiary Urica Therapeutics' involvement in Crystalys Therapeutics' $205 million Series A financing in October 2025 to accelerate global Phase 3 trials of dotinurad; launched Emrosi for rosacea treatment; reported third-quarter 2025 net revenue growth of 20.5% to $17.6 million; and entered a strategic AI collaboration with Partex in early 2025 to enhance asset identification and evaluation.
