First Pacific Company Limited (HKEX: 142; OTC: FPAFY) is a Hong Kong-based investment holding company focused on Asia-Pacific markets; it maintains principal investments in consumer food products through PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, telecommunications via PLDT Inc., infrastructure through Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, and natural resources including Philex Mining Corporation and PXP Energy Corporation. Indofood produces and distributes a broad range of branded consumer foods such as the global instant noodle brand Indomie, dairy products, snack foods, food seasonings, nutrition and special foods, wheat flour, pasta, beverages, as well as agribusiness outputs from oil palm, rubber, sugar cane, cocoa and tea plantations, cooking oils, margarines and shortenings; PLDT delivers wireless, fixed line, broadband, cellular networks and digital services; MPIC manages investments in electricity distribution and generation, water distribution and sewerage, toll roads, railways, hospitals, real estate and light rail; Philex mines and produces gold, copper and silver; FPM Power Holdings Limited operates efficient gas-fired power plants in Singapore; and PXP engages in upstream oil and gas exploration. The company, founded in 1981 and headquartered at 24/F, Two Exchange Square, 8 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong, operates primarily in Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore, with additional presence in the Middle East, Africa and other regions. In January 2025, First Pacific completed transactions that increased its economic interest in MPIC to 49.9% and voting interest to 61.8%; as of August 2025, it holds 50.1% economic interest in Indofood, 25.6% in PLDT, 69.5% in FPM Power, 31.2% in Philex and 29.3% in PXP. In August 2024, MPIC subsidiary Landco Pacific Corporation gained control of Costa De Madera Corporation, recognizing gains on remeasurement of previously held interests.
