A controlling shareholder in Arena Hospitality Group d.d., which trades on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, PPHE Hotel Group holds a £2.2 billion portfolio of prime freehold and long leasehold assets valued as of December 2024; founded in 1986 and headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the company was formerly known as Park Plaza Hotels Limited prior to its name change in March 2012. Recent developments include the completion in September 2025 of a £17.5 million acquisition, via its European Hospitality Real Estate Fund subsidiary, of a 13,000 sqm mixed-use development site near the City of London and Tower Bridge for its first select-service hotel under the Radisson RED brand, with a total expected investment of £90 million targeting high single-digit unlevered yields and BREEAM Excellent sustainability accreditation; earlier in 2025, the Fund acquired and opened the five-star art'otel Rome Piazza Sallustio; and the group increased its stake in Arena Hospitality Group to 65.5% through the €18.5 million purchase of minority shares, reflecting a circa 10% yield on 2024 EBITDA.
