Founded in 1957 and headquartered in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada, TFI International has grown through over 130 acquisitions, including the transformative US$800 million purchase of UPS Freight in 2021 rebranded as TForce Freight, the US$1.1 billion acquisition of Daseke in April 2024 enhancing specialized flatbed and heavy-haul capabilities, Hercules Forwarding in March 2024 for LTL expansion, Entreposage Marco in June 2024 for food-grade hauling, and Groupe CRS Express in July 2024 for additional flatbed services; in February 2025 it announced plans to relocate headquarters to the US citing 70% operations there but abandoned the move following shareholder opposition.
