Ringmetall SE, headquartered in Munich, Germany and founded in 1997, serves as a leading international specialist in the packaging industry, developing, producing and marketing closure systems and inner liners for industrial drums and containers through its Industrial Packaging Rings and Industrial Packaging Liners divisions; core products include drum clamping rings, drum lids, special seals and accessories for the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as liquid and large container liners, bag-in-box systems and innovative packaging solutions for the beverage sector. The company operates 21 production sites across nine countries on three continents, including Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Turkey, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, China and the USA, targeting primarily chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing and logistics sectors with highly recyclable products that support the circular economy. Recent developments include the acquisition of Hutek Oy in Finland in January 2025 to expand into the Scandinavian bag-in-box market for dairy products; the November 2024 purchase of FIB Beer Systems to bolster bulk container liners; a stake in innovative packaging startup Evopack in January 2025; and sustained inorganic growth through acquisitions amid stable 2024 revenues of EUR 174.9 million and preliminary 2025 half-year revenues up 7.2% to EUR 97.4 million, with subsidiaries such as Berger Group, Nittel, Tesseraux, Rhein-Plast, Liner Factory, Peak Packaging and others operating largely independently.
