Business
Viva Wine Group AB is an alcoholic beverage company that specializes in the sourcing, brand development, marketing, and distribution of wine and spirits across the Nordic region and continental European markets. The company operates through three principal business segments: Sweden, Rest of Nordics, and Viva eCom. Its product portfolio encompasses red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines, including Champagne, Prosecco, and Cava; organic, biodynamic, and sustainably certified wines; ethical and Fairtrade-certified beverages; low-alcohol and non-alcoholic wine alternatives; and select spirits and ready-to-drink products. Viva Wine Group AB provides partner brand representation and agency services for international wine producers; proprietary brand creation and private label development; direct-to-consumer e-commerce retail and digital wine advisory services; bonded warehousing, temperature-controlled logistics, and fulfillment; and wholesale distribution to government monopoly retailers, duty-free operators, and the hotel, restaurant, and catering (HoReCa) sector. The company distributes its products through state-run retail monopolies, including Systembolaget in Sweden, Alko in Finland, and Vinmonopolet in Norway, and operates direct-to-consumer digital platforms such as Vicampo and Weinfürst in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. In recent developments, Viva Wine Group AB has scaled its European direct-to-consumer segment through the operational integration and platform consolidation of its e-commerce acquisitions, streamlined its cross-border fulfillment infrastructure, and expanded automated logistics in its primary central European distribution hubs. Furthermore, the company has broadened its portfolio of organic, vegan-certified, and climate-smart packaged wines in response to updated Nordic monopoly sustainability guidelines, while advancing strategic supplier partnerships across key wine-growing regions to reinforce its market share in both monopoly retail and digital consumer channels. Founded in 1996, Viva Wine Group AB is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
