Business
Firestone Ventures Inc. Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSXV: FV; OTC: FSVEF) is a Canada-based junior mineral exploration company that identifies, evaluates, acquires, and explores mineral property interests, with a primary focus on zinc, lead, silver, and other precious and base metals projects. The company holds dominant land positions in a 250-kilometer historical zinc-lead-silver mineral belt in Guatemala, Central America, including the flagship Torlon Hill zinc-lead-silver project featuring NI 43-101 compliant preliminary resources of 330 million pounds of zinc, 114 million pounds of lead, and 978,000 ounces of silver from 105 drill holes totaling 8,591 meters; the near-surface deposit remains open for expansion, complemented by the Quetzal property with high-grade intercepts such as 10 meters grading 20.0% zinc, 1.2% lead, and 13.9 g/t silver, alongside additional regional zinc targets under evaluation. It also maintains interests in mineral projects in western Canada and pursues opportunities in critical metals exploration. Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Firestone Ventures operates primarily in Guatemala and Canada, targeting industrial and battery metal markets including galvanizing, infrastructure, automotive, and electric vehicle applications. In October 2025, the company signed a one-year memorandum of understanding with Aurania Resources Ltd. Aurania Resources Ltd. and RSA S.R.L. to evaluate the recovery of critical metals such as nickel, cobalt, chromium, iron, and copper from tailings at the former Balangero asbestos mine in Italy, incorporating a Firestone-led carbon capture initiative to neutralize asbestos and sequester CO2, with SRK Consulting retained for a six-month scoping review; this marks a strategic expansion into European remediation and critical minerals production without new mining.
