In late 2025, Fuel Tech acquired intellectual property assets and customer-related activities from Wahlco, Inc., for $350,000 to expand its APC solutions portfolio and global market opportunities; the acquisition complements existing SCR technologies amid rising demand for emissions control in power generation supporting data centers and utilities; the company also reported a 20% increase in APC backlog from mid-2025 levels, FUEL CHEM revenues of $4.8 million in Q3 2025 driven by new contracts, and expectations for segment revenues to reach highest levels since 2022.
