- Firan Technology Group Corporation is a global supplier of aerospace and defense electronic products and subsystems, operating through two primary segments: FTG Circuits and FTG Aerospace. FTG Circuits specializes in the manufacture of high-technology, high-reliability printed circuit boards including standard rigid products; High-Density Interconnect (HDI); Radio Frequency (RF) circuitry; Thermal management; Rigid-flex; and custom assemblies. The segment supports aviation, defense, and space industry customers with advanced technologies such as licensed Averatek’s A-SAP semi-additive process. FTG Aerospace designs and manufactures high-reliability avionic subsystem hardware including backlit control panels and assemblies, integrated switch panels, Multi-Function Control and Display Unit (MCDU) keyboards, primary display bezels, cursor control devices, and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) for flight and simulation applications used by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in commercial aerospace and defense markets. The company operates manufacturing and engineering facilities across the United States, Canada, Asia, and Europe, with revenues predominantly driven by the FTG Circuits segment. Founded in 1963 and headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, FTG has pursued strategic growth and operational excellence. In 2025, the company completed the acquisition of FLYHT Aerospace Solutions Ltd., which expanded its commercial aerospace aftermarket capabilities with products such as the AFIRS Edge+ 5G Wireless Quick Access Recorder. The company received Supplemental Type Certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the AFIRS Edge+ on Airbus A319/320/321 aircraft and secured its first sale of this product to an Asian airline, marking a key commercial milestone. FTG is also advancing a new aerospace manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, India, expected to commence revenue-generating operations by mid-2026 to support global expansion. Alongside these developments, FTG strengthened its leadership team with key appointments and completed succession plans for critical roles. Recent financial performance reflects organic growth alongside integration benefits from the FLYHT acquisition, with Q3 2025 revenues increasing by approximately 11% year-over-year to $47.7 million and adjusted EBITDA improving to $7.7 million. The company maintains a strong backlog for aerospace and defense programs and continues to pursue new qualification orders for high-volume US defense contracts. Operationally, FTG has focused on enhancing productivity across its sites to meet rising demand despite challenges such as supply chain volatility and geopolitical uncertainties affecting global aerospace manufacturing. Overall, Firan Technology Group Corporation serves a diverse customer base in commercial and military aerospace sectors, offering products ranging from printed circuit boards to sophisticated cockpit assemblies and aftermarket flight data solutions, supported by a global footprint and recent strategic initiatives aimed at growth and innovation. This description incorporates details of FTG’s main products and services, recent acquisition and certification achievements, new facility plans, and leadership changes as of 2025. It reflects the company’s aerospace and defense industry focus, geographic operations, and strategic trajectory based on the latest publicly available information.
