Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC) is a Poland-based real estate developer and investor that engages in the development, leasing, management and rental of high-standard office buildings, retail and shopping centers, and residential properties including houses and apartments; it also provides real estate services such as property management and maintenance. The company operates a portfolio of 48 commercial buildings offering over 745,000 square meters of leasable office and retail space across key Central and Eastern European capitals including Warsaw (Poland), Budapest (Hungary), Bucharest (Romania), Belgrade (Serbia), Zagreb (Croatia) and Sofia (Bulgaria), with additional activities in Germany and a development pipeline exceeding 336,000 square meters; founded in 1994 and headquartered at Nothus Building in Warsaw, Poland, GTC targets corporate tenants, retailers and residential buyers with sustainable projects certified under LEED, BREEAM or DGNB standards. Recent developments include the November 2024 acquisition of a German residential portfolio from Peach Property Group AG and LFH Portfolio Acquico S.à r.l. for approximately EUR 167 million in cash plus participating notes, comprising multiple residential assets with advanced sustainability features like heat pumps and AI-driven management; the exercise of options in early 2025 to acquire remaining minority stakes in this portfolio from co-investors; the sale of its Bulgarian subsidiary GOC EAD holding a Sofia landbank in December 2024; acquisitions of German land plots for senior housing in 2024; a refinancing of Hungarian subsidiary debt via a EUR 195 million tender offer; and executive appointments such as Sebastian Junghanel as COO and leadership changes in finance during 2025.
