Business
Global Energy Metals Corporation (TSXV:GEMC; OTCQB:GBLEF; FSE:5GE2) is a multi-jurisdictional critical mineral exploration, development and project generating company that offers investors exposure to the rechargeable battery, electric vehicle and clean energy markets through a diversified portfolio of battery metal assets including cobalt, nickel, copper, lithium, gold, silver and graphite projects. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, the company explores and advances properties in Canada, the United States, Australia and Norway, with key assets encompassing the Lovelock Mine and Treasure Box nickel-cobalt-copper projects in Nevada near Tesla's Gigafactory; the Millennium Cobalt-Copper-Gold-Graphite Project in Queensland's Mount Isa district; the Råna Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project and past-producing Bruvann Nickel Mine in Norway; the Monument Peak Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Idaho; and royalty and equity interests in lithium brine projects such as NeoLithica's Peace River in Alberta and uranium exploration assets in the Athabasca Basin via Terra Balcanica. It targets scalable deposits in pro-mining jurisdictions with low logistics risks to support end-user supply chains for electrification, employing a consolidate-partner-invest strategy that includes strategic stakes, royalties and joint ventures with partners like Metal Bank Ltd., Kingsrose Mining, High-Tech Metals and GEO40 for processing technologies. Recent developments include partner Metal Bank Ltd. commencing a fully funded drilling program at Millennium in November 2025; termination of the proposed Luna Energy uranium acquisition in November 2025 after its September announcement; progress on lithium recovery testing with GEO40 yielding 99.9% battery-grade lithium carbonate in June 2025; acquisition of a 19.9% interest and 1% NSR royalty in NeoLithica's Peace River lithium project in early 2025; and ongoing partner-funded exploration at Råna with new nickel-copper intercepts reported throughout 2024-2025, alongside private placements closed in 2024 to fund advancements.
