Business
Pan-United Corporation Ltd, a Singapore-listed investment holding company, engages in the manufacture and supply of ready-mix concrete, cement, aggregates, granite, slag and basic building materials to the construction industry; trading of raw materials and refined petroleum products; bulk shipping and agency operations; and provision of sustainable technology solutions, marketing services, software consultancy, information technology and computer services. The company operates through three main segments, namely Concrete and Cement, Trading and Shipping, and Others, with activities spanning Singapore, China and other Asia-Pacific regions. Founded in 1958 and headquartered at 7 Temasek Boulevard #16-01 Suntec Tower One in Singapore, Pan-United focuses on concrete innovation, maintaining extensive in-house R&D capabilities that have produced over 300 specialised concrete solutions, more than half of which are low-carbon types including proprietary carbon mineralised concrete leveraging carbon capture and utilisation technology. The company leads Singapore's ready-mix concrete market with around 40% share and deploys AiR Digital, its proprietary AI-driven platform, to optimise supply chain and logistics operations across its vertically integrated value chain encompassing production, logistics and delivery. Pan-United pledges to offer only low-carbon concrete by 2030, carbon-neutral concrete by 2040 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, having pioneered low-carbon solutions since 2019 with integrations such as CarbonCure technology and on-demand Environmental Product Declarations since 2022. Recent developments include securing S$430m in ready-mix supply contracts for Changi Airport Terminal 5 spanning five years; planned S$60m capital expenditure in 2025 for capacity expansion at Jurong Port; deployment of Singapore's first electric-powered concrete mixer truck; leadership changes to support next-stage growth; collaboration with Keppel, FiCO and Coteccons to explore sustainable concrete in Vietnam; and partnership with Cleantech Solar for solar PV systems comprising 900 panels in Singapore and Malaysia.
