Business
Ag Growth International Inc. (AFN.TO) manufactures and distributes equipment solutions for handling, storing, and processing bulk agricultural commodities including grain, seed, fertilizer, rice, feed, and food worldwide. The company operates through Farm and Commercial segments, offering grain handling equipment such as augers and belt conveyors; grain storage bins and aeration products; seed and fertilizer storage and handling systems; feed handling and storage equipment; automated blending systems; control systems; structural components; food processing solutions; and full-service planning, engineering, and project management services across five platforms of grain, fertilizer, food, feed, and seed. AGI maintains manufacturing facilities and sales networks in Canada, the United States, Brazil, India, France, and Italy, serving farmers, processors, and commercial customers on six continents from its headquarters in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where it was founded in 1996. In recent developments, AGI partnered with Boa Safra Ag LLC in August 2024 to provide U.S. grain farmers with value-added services including agricultural tax deductions through Legacy Nutrient Deductions, expanding its offerings beyond equipment into farmer support solutions. The company continues to leverage its global infrastructure amid a recovering agricultural cycle, as noted in 2025 analyst commentary, while reporting ongoing capital commitments for property, plant, and equipment expansions as of mid-2025. Earlier acquisitions, such as Eastern Fabricators in January 2022, have bolstered its fabrication capabilities for commercial-scale projects.
