Business
Altheora S.A. Altheora SA (ALORA.PA), founded in 1934 and headquartered in Mauves, France, operates as an industrial equipment manufacturer and European leader in the design and production of parts using new-generation composite and polymer materials. The company provides fully integrated solutions from research and development to final production through four core business lines: Altheora Shift, the innovation laboratory integrating design office and R&D activities; Altheora Composites, specializing in processing composite materials and manufacturing complex industrial functions via techniques such as thermoset, SMC, contact, and RTM; Altheora Injection, focused on high-tech and large-format thermoplastic injection; and Altheora Coating, expert in painting, finishing, and industrial coatings for end-use parts. It serves diverse sectors including low-carbon mobility (rail, trucks and buses, aeronautics, automotive, industrial vehicles), sustainable construction (public works, building, sports and leisure), as well as railways, motorized equipment, marine, recreation, medical, and telecommunications networks, with operations across France, the rest of Europe including six factories in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Romania, and worldwide markets employing approximately 248 people. Formerly known as Mecelec Composites SA, the company changed its name and stock symbol to Altheora SA in June 2021, announced its strategic plan in September 2021 targeting industrial synergy and sustainability, established a key partnership in July 2021 with one of Europe's leading campervan manufacturers, and continues accelerating commercial development and diversification as evidenced by its 2025 half-year revenue of 18.9 million euros and ongoing financial reporting including resilient 2024 annual results.
